Preview — The Resident Season 6 Episode 5: A River in Egypt
The Resident Season 6 Episode 5, “A River in Egypt,” is putting Devon front and center of the action for second week in a row. It seems like Irving’s “you’re not a real doctor,” got under his skin and he continues to prove he is a doctor.
This time around, he is facing a patient who is trying to play God. How do you convince someone that they can’t escape death when they are so sure they can?
Meanwhile, Conrad has to face someone from his past. Both doctors will be confronted by challenging cases that will probably bring chaos to Chastain once more.

Episode description: A college professor comes into the emergency room and Conrad realizes it’s a former patient of his from when he was an intern; Devon ends up admitting a man who swears he knows the answer to eternal life.
