Preview — Superman & Lois Season 2 Episode 12: Lies that Bind

After Clark’s jaw-dropping reveal, Lana grapples with the truth on Superman & Lois Season 2 Episode 12, “Lies that Bind.”

The promo video suggests Clark and Lois have every intention of looping Lana in on everything now. So at least that means Superman & Lois will deliver more Lana and Lois scenes.

Still, as if her best friend keeping this big of a secret from her isn’t enough, Lana must process other worlds and doppelgangers. 

On the other hand, the teenagers — specifically Jordan and Jonathan — become increasingly worried their parents aren’t telling them the complete story. 

That doubt has been brewing between Clark, Lois, and their sons all season, and the presence of Bizarro World only compounds their justified feelings all around.

It’ll be interesting to see if and how that same doubt reveals itself within Natalie and John Henry’s dynamic, especially considering they have very different plans for dealing with the season’s antagonists. 

Also, it’s worth noting that “Lies that Bind” is already the antithesis of Superman & Lois Season 2 Episode 2, “Ties That Bind.” Exactly ten episodes later, lies threaten to burn those ties. So, where will that leave everyone at the end of this episode? What about the end of the season?

No matter, one thing is certain: “Lies that Bind” will reunite Clark and Tal Rho. That relationship is becoming one of Superman & Lois‘ most unexpectedly wonderful pulls.

Episode description: We pick up right where we left off with Clark levitating in front of Lana. Meanwhile, Jordan and Jonathan question whether Lois and Clark are telling them the complete story. Lastly, Natalie tries her best to get Sarah to acknowledge Jordan. Erik Valdez, Wole Parks, Sofia Hasmik, Taylor Buck, and Dylan Walsh also star. The episode was directed by David Mahmoudieh and written by Rina Mimoun.
