Preview — Station 19 Season 5 Episode 17: The Road You Didn’t Take
Jack and Andy hit the road to meet Jack’s biological brother on Station 19 Season 5 Episode 17, “The Road You Didn’t Take.”
While on the road, Andy gets the first piece of good news she’s received in a while — her colleagues can testify on her behalf in the trial.
As previously reported, Station 19 will return for Season 6. Since the show is discussing witness testimonies in its season’s penultimate episode, that could mean Andy’s trial won’t take place until next season.
Until then, Andy is standing beside Jack (as he has for her) while he comes face to face with his biological brother. According to the episode’s description, that meeting will bring shocking new details about his childhood.
Station 19 shocks and twists are unlikely to ease up with “The Road You Didn’t Take” since it’s the penultimate episode. Hopefully, whatever Jack learns isn’t too intense because all the characters deserve to catch at least a little break.
That may not be possible back at the firehouse because the photos suggest tensions are high at the Dean Miller Memorial Clinic, and that could have something to do with Ben and Travis helping a patient who is long overdue for medical treatment.
That patient could be Jae-Jin Park, whose son Justin kept the full extent of his medical condition from him on Station 19 Season 5 Episode 12, “In My Tree.” Ben and Travis are aware of Jae-Jin’s condition, after all.
Additionally, Theo and Vic use Crisis One to respond to a domestic disturbance between the parents of a trans teenager.
