Sanditon – Sunday, April 24

Everyone’s favorite contract killer and his friends are back after a long break, trying to finally do the right thing and leave the life behind. Barry returns Sunday, April 24 at 10/9c on HBO.

Based on the podcast, Slowburn, the limited series takes on one of the several main characters of the Watergate scandal, Martha Mitchell, and everything she was put through when she began speaking the truth. Gaslit debuts Tuesday, Sunday, April 24 at 8/7c on Starz.
Series Description: A modern take on the 1970s political Watergate scandal centreing on untold stories and forgotten characters of the time.
We Own This City – Monday, April 25
From the creator of The Wire comes a drama series following the rise and fall of Baltimore’s Gun Tracing Task Force, adapted from the novel of the same name. We Own This City debuts Monday, April 25 at 9/8c on HBO.
Series Description: Based on the book “We Own This City: A True Story of Crime, Cops and Corruption” by Baltimore Sun reporter Justin Fenton, this gritty drama chronicles the rise and fall of the Baltimore Police Department’s Gun Trace Task Force. It exposes the corruption and moral collapse that befalls an American city in which the policies of drug prohibition and mass arrest are championed at the expense of actual police work. Created and written by David Simon, creator of “The Wire,” and George Pelecanos, production took place in Baltimore.
Gentleman Jack – Monday, April 25

Anne and Ann are back! While Anne is making the preparations for Ann to stay in Shibden Hall, Ann’s family’s doubts are surfacing. Gentleman Jack returns Monday, April 25 at 10/9c on HBO.
Episode Description: Yorkshire, 1834. A month on from their private marriage ceremony, Ann Walker remains in York under the care of her doctor while Anne Lister, with fresh financial confidence and entrepreneurial vigour, renovates Shibden Hall in preparation for her wife to move in. Learning of their plan to co-habit, Ann’s protective tribe of relations are increasingly suspicious of Anne’s motives, but they can’t find the right words to express their fears about the nature of her relationship.
The Survivor – Wednesday, April 27
The tale of Harry Haft, his time in Auschwitz, and the horrors that were done to him to survive is told with Ben Foster starring and Barry Levinson directing. The Survivor debuts Wednesday, April 27 at 8/7c on HBO.
Movie Description: Based on the incredible true story of Harry Haft, the film reunites Levinson with award-winning actor Ben Foster. Foster stars in the lead role as Haft who, after being sent to Auschwitz, survives not only the unspeakable horrors of the camp, but the gladiatorial boxing spectacle he is forced to perform with his fellow prisoners for the amusement of his captors. Unbeknownst to those who try to destroy him, Haft’s will to survive is driven by his quest to reunite with the woman he loves.
The Way Down: God, Greed, and The Cult of Gwen Shamblin – Thursday, April 28

The final piece of the puzzle falls into place as the end of the multi-part docuseries returns to cover the aftermath of Gwen Shamblin’s death, her daughter’s attempt to take on the mantle, and where the church goes from there. The Way Down: God, Greed, and the Cult of Gwen Shamblin returns with its final two episodes Thursday, April 28 on HBO Max.
Under the Banner of Heaven – Thursday, April 28

In a week filled with true crime adaptations, this Hulu series follows the real events of an investigation into the death of a mother and her child, which leads to disturbing truths, secrets about LDS, and more. With an amazingly stacked cast including Andrew Garfield and Daisy Edgar-Jones, Under the Banner of Heaven’s two-episode premiere debuts Thursday, April 28 on FX on Hulu.
Episode Description: Detectives Jeb Pyre and Bill Taba investigate the brutal, sinister murders of Brenda Wright Lafferty and her baby daughter in Utah’s typically serene Salt Lake Valley in 1984.With a lead suspect in custody, the investigation uncovers more ominous questions than answers as the hidden history of the once admired Lafferty family is exposed.
Ozark – Friday, April 29

The second half of the final season is set to debut and with it, tell the final installment of the Byrde family’s criminal transformation. With everything on the line, how will everything end for them? Ozark season 4 part 2 debuts Friday, April 29 on Netflix.
Season Description: Ozark is a thrilling drama set in the present-day and follows the Byrde family’s journey from their normal, suburban Chicago life to their dangerous criminal enterprise in the Ozarks, Missouri. The series explores capitalism, family dynamics, and survival through the eyes of (anything but) ordinary Americans.
