Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of April 3! We’ll be sharing our picks for what to watch this week, from marathons to big guest spots and significant episodes of TV to look forward to.
This week’s picks include a new installment of Sanditon, the return of Woke and iCarly, and more.

Sanditon – Sunday, April 3

Benjamin Franklin – Monday, April 4

The 4 hour documentary from Ken Burns tells the story of one of the country’s founders and the events that led to the documented moment in history. Benjamin Franklin debuts Monday, April 4 at 8/7c on PBS.

The Hardy Boys – Wednesday, April 6

The boys are back and on the case after one of their classmates goes missing. Is this a mystery they will be able to solve? The Hardy Boys returns Wednesday, April 6, on Hulu.
Episode Description: Frank and Joe return to detective work after a classmate goes missing.
Jimmy Savile: A British Horror Story – Wednesday, April 6

This streaming docuseries details the horrors and violations that came to light after the death of a formerly well-regarded British celebrity. Jimmy Savile: A British Horror Story debuts Wednesday, April 6 on Netflix.
Documentary Description: Jimmy Savile rose to prominence in a career spanning decades in the entertainment industry in the UK. He had raised millions for charity, been knighted by the Queen and achieved national treasure status by the time he died on the 29th October 2011. His funeral was broadcast live on the BBC. Since his death, independent investigations and those made by Scotland Yard uncovered that Savile had been a prolific and predatory sex offender, abusing hundreds of people, some as young as 5.
To date, more than 450 allegations of sexual assault and abuse have been made against him. The documentary examines, through extensive archive footage, Savile’s relationship with the British people, the establishment and the media to understand how he managed to fool an entire nation for so long.
Close Enough – Thursday, April 7

The adult animated series that follows a couple in their thirties returns as the two continue to navigate the weirdness of being thirtysomethings. Close Enough returns Thursday, April 7, on HBO Max.

Their life may not be ideal, but for now, it’s close enough.
A Black Lady Sketch Show – Friday, April 8

Robin Thede and company are back and ready to make us laugh until we cry with new sketches, jokes, costumes, and more. A Black Lady Sketch Show returns Friday, April 8 at 11/10c on HBO.
Series Description: The narrative sketch comedy series features a core cast of Black women living relatable, hilarious experiences in a magical reality that subverts traditional expectations.
iCarly – Friday, April 8

The rebooted sitcom is back and ready to start a new season right where the first left off as Carly looks to family and friends to help her growing web channel. iCarly returns Friday, April 8 on Paramount+.
Season Description: The 10-episode second season of Paramount+’s iCarly picks up right after the first season ended, with Carly refocusing her attention on her friends and family following her romantic complications, all while working to boost her revived web channel. Spencer and Harper must also navigate new personal and career developments, while Freddie balances raising Millicent with a new app and a new girlfriend. Woke – Friday, April 8

Lamorne Morris is back with a new season of the comedy, as being “woke” is a means to gain further profits. But can Keef actually effect change? Woke returns Friday, April 8 on Hulu.
