iCarly will return on Friday, April 8th with Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) putting all her attention on friends and family after a slew of romantic entanglements gone wrong last season. She will also continue to boost her revived web channel by prioritizing work over love.
Or, at least she’s going to try. (Call us crazy, but something tells us she and Freddie have some unaddressed romantic tension to deal with).
While Carly’s busy building her empire, her brother Spencer (Jerry Trainor) and best friend Harper (Lacy Mosley) will be following suit, as they themselves navigate personal and career developments. Longtime pal Freddie will be busy balancing his time between raising his daughter Milicent (Jaidyn Triplett), creating a new app, and romancing a new girlfriend.
Carly may be successfully learning how to navigate work, life, and love in her 20s, but that doesn’t mean everything will come easy. The Season 2 trailer reveals Josh Peck will be a season guest star, and from what it looks like, the two will find themselves at odds pretty quickly.
Peck and Cosgrove previously starred as brother and sister in Nickelodeon’s hit series Drake and Josh, and the two have plenty of practice playing a bickering duo in front of the camera. Whatever they find themselves fighting over, it’s bound to be an entertaining and nostalgia-fueled ride.
Paramount+ will be dropping two all-new episodes on premiere day, with new installments following each Friday.

I am super excited for season 2. The first season of this revival really stood out to me and it felt as though it was a show that could hold it’s own as an original sitcom without needing to rely on nostalgia, the fact it was a revivalwas just a bonus. The season 2 trailer looks chaotic and fun, and I won’t lie, I’m curious to see what direction they take Carly and Freddie, I’m sure it will be entertaining no matter what happens!
