Preview — Superman & Lois Season 2 Episode 10: Bizarros in a Bizarro World

Everything is not what it seems when Superman & Lois enters Bizarro World on Season 2 Episode 10, “Bizarros in a Bizarro World.”

At first glance, it seems as though the superhero drama will take a look at Bizarro’s past through a series of flashbacks. This trip down Bizarro’s memory lane could even be independent of the rest of the established characters.

Instead, the episode description teases that it’ll place Earth-Prime’s Superman into Bizarro’s world as a cautionary tale.

In Bizarro World, everything is darker — figuratively and literally. As a result, the Kents aren’t as bonded and warm as in the alternate, dominant reality. They even sport black clothes that match their darker personas.

The photos and promo video show a world of glitz and glamour for the Man of Steel, who appears to be a bonafide celebrity in Bizarro World. This change of pace for the usually humble hero creates financial advantages and interpersonal disadvantages.

One noticeable difference Superman & Lois will play with on “Bizarros in a Bizarro World” is Tal-Rho and Clark’s dynamic. In this alternate reality, the brothers are close enough to grab drinks.

Moreover, they’re close enough for Clark to want to tell his brother that Lois is pregnant. That hint at the timeline could mean that Superman & Lois will flash back to Bizarro’s past before it inserts Clark into the narrative.

Somehow, the timeline may lead to Bizarro Jonathan meeting his counterpart, Jordan, and Lois in Smallville at the end of Superman & Lois Season 2 Episode 9, “30 Days and 30 Nights.”

One of the many thrilling aspects of “Bizarros in a Bizarro Wold” is that we won’t know the reality of the episode until it airs. But, even then, we may be left with more questions than answers.

Episode description: ELAT YRANOITUAC A — Superman races through the portal after Ally Allston, but when he arrives on the other side, he discovers everything on this parallel earth is… bizarre. Navigating his way through deceivingly familiar faces and landscapes, Superman goes on one wild ride in his fight to stop Ally from merging. Elizabeth Tulloch, Jordan Elsass, Alex Garfin, Sofia Hasmik, Dylan Walsh and Emmanuelle Chriqui also star. The episode was directed by Louis Milito and written by Brent Fletcher & Todd Helbing.
