Ghosts to Return from Hiatus with New Backstories and Ghostly-Guests
Did you hear the spooky-good news? Ghosts is returning to CBS with two new episodes on February 24 and March 3.
That’s right! The undead comedy is eager to return to the Woodstone Mansion and reunite with television’s goofiest ghosts. And with new episodes comes a desire to up the stakes in exciting ways.

On February 24, fans can look forward to learning more about the manor’s resident Lenape, Sasappis.
His backstory will finally be revealed with the arrival of Sas’ father, Naxasi, played by Román Zaragoza’s real-life father, Gregory Zaragoza.
And on the other side of the manor, this episode has Pete and Jay bonding over their love for basketball. Flower, feeling left out, reflects on her experience as a woman of the 1960s’ sexual revolution.
Episode description for “Ghostwriter”: When Sasappis offers to help Sam complete the B&B website so they can start taking reservations, they butt heads over the creative direction. Also, Pete bonds with Jay over basketball until Jay makes a new living friend, and Flower attempts to be Pete’s new basketball buddy. Gregory Zaragoza, father of series regular Román Zaragoza, guest stars as Sasappis’ father, Naxasi.

You might be asking yourself, how could Ghosts get any better? The answer is Viking therapy.
On March 3, Sam and Jay are forced to ask the ghosts to bunk up when the B&B begins to book guests. Trevor adds to the chaos by revealing to Sam that Thor is struggling with night terrors.
Sam decides the only solution is to send Thor to therapy.
This, in turn, inspires Isaac to face a moving revelation about his sexual orientation. But not before he attempts to seduce Hetty, because that’s happening!
Episode description for “Thorapy”: When Sam and Jay have the ghosts bunk together to make room for guests at the B&B, they learn that Thorfinn is having night terrors, which inspires Sam to enlist a therapist to help him. Also, Isaac feels compelled to seduce his new roommate, Hetty.

According to The Wrap, producers of the paranormal comedy confirmed during CBS’ winter press tour that the time for a revolving door of ghosts is over. Every episode in the back half of this season will feature the entire ghost ensemble.
With an early Season 2 renewal and endorsement from Mark Hamill, Ghosts is looking to keep the good times coming.
So, the more ghosts, the merrier!
