Ghosts Scares-Up a Season 2 Renewal From CBS
Good news, ghoulies! Ghosts will live to haunt another day.
CBS has officially renewed the paranormal sitcom for a second season. Yes, after months of dominating the competition, the network is doubling down on television’s number one new hit comedy.
“Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, together with a breakout cast and exceptional writers, have done a superb job of adapting Ghosts for the U.S. and making it their own. This smart and charming show is delivering new creative highs, and scaring up new audience highs, every week,” explained Kelly Kahl, President of CBS Entertainment.

Since premiering in October, this Rose McIver-led comedy became the network’s fastest-growing new show, averaging 8.06 million viewers. Thanks to its loveable cast and quotable one-liners, the spooky good series has been easily embraced by fans.
Producers broke the news to the cast during a promo shoot for Valentine’s Day. Ghosts‘ Twitter account shared the prank, tweeting: “This may be no surprise to anyone who watches and loves #GhostsCBS, but we still found a way to surprise the cast with this good news — Ghosts is officially renewed for Season 2!”
