Sam and Jay attempt to plan a traditional funeral for Thorfinn on Ghosts Season 1 Episode 3, “Viking Funeral.” Things don’t go to plan because the couple starts to see money signs like Sam can see ghosts.
Thorfinn’s bones can make the pair a fair share of money they can use to turn around the B&B. The morality issues arise in that Sam wouldn’t be able to avoid her conscience or Thorfinn if she and Jay decide to sell the bones.
By the looks of the photos, there’s a great chance our new favorite comfort comedy will stick to pulling at our heartstrings while making us laugh. Thorfinn appears to get his wish, but knowing this group of spirits, there are plenty of hijinx and mishaps to look forward to on “Viking Funeral.”
The B plot of this episode sounds just as interesting as the former because the ghosts think it’s best to make things political in favor of coherency. That’s right; one of the ghosts will become the official “ghost representative” to brings their pressing issues to Sam. My money’s on Pete.
