Jenna Dewan Joins ‘Superman & Lois’ to Reprise Role as Lucy Lane

News, Superman & Lois

Lucy Lane is traveling across the Arrowverse to reunite with her sister Lois!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jenna Dewan will reprise her role in a recurring position on Superman & Lois Season 2.

Dewan first appeared as Lois Lane’s younger sister on the first season of Supergirl when the show aired on CBS. She even appeared in the series’ first crossover with The Flash.

Lucy was introduced as a military officer and James Olsen’s ex-girlfriend, throwing a wrench into the building romantic tension between Kara and James.

After Season 1 of Superman & Lois explored Clark’s relationship with his brother, it’s only right that Season 2 take a closer look at Lois’ relationship with her sister.

Because of the lack of on-screen interaction between the sisters, it’s hard to tell what the sisters’ dynamic will be like, but that’s something to look forward to in the new season.

The same can be said for how Lucy will react to her father who has changed a lot since the last time she saw him. Glenn Morshower played the role on a Pre-Ciris On Infinite Earths Supergirl

Now, Dylan Walsh plays the part on Superman & Lois. So there is an opportunity for a fun, tongue-in-cheek joke about Sam looking different since she last saw him.

Dewan joins a growing cast as Deadline reported earlier this month that Ian Bohen will join the series in a multi-episode arc.

Bohen “will play Lt. Mitch Anderson, the metaphorical “new sheriff in town” at the DOD. His worldview divides into two types – those you serve and those who serve you. He doesn’t like that Superman exists outside that paradigm and tries to bring the Man of Steel under his authority officially.”

If you listen carefully enough, you can hear Teen Wolf fans howling in excitement about this on-screen reunion between Bohen and Tyler Hoechlin.

Since it sounds like Mitch Anderson could step on Sam and Clark’s toes, there’s a great chance Lucy and Lois will come head-to-head with Bohen’s character before the end of the season.

Talk about a family reunion!
