Davis is set to write and executive produce the film. He will also develop a Teen Wolf-inspired TV series titled Wolf Pack, based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom. Finally, Davis will serve as showrunner and pilot director for the preciously announced Aeon Flux live-action reboot that will move from MTV to Paramount Plus.

An official tagline for the Teen Wolf film was released with the announcement, revealing “a terrifying evil has emerged in the town of Beacon Hills. The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes, and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a Werewolf like Scott McCall, no longer a teenager yet still an Alpha, can gather both new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced.”

Scott McCall has been directly named in the tagline and Tyler Posey has been vocal about wanting to return to the role. • All I ask is that they don’t make Sterek happen and I’ll be happy. But I hope they include more banshee lore and Irish mythology… underrepresented and badass! They better let Lydia have that and not play the who-she’s-gonna-choose-as-a-love-interest game. And without taking away her femininity to prove how “strong” she is too, I hate that trope. But I missed the McCall pack so much <3
