Dynasty Review: The Aftermath (Season 4 Episode 3)
Fallon deals with her feelings about Evan’s attack in her own unique way on Dynasty Season 4 Episode 3, “The Aftermath.”
“The Aftermath” follows Fallon around the Carrington manor as she comes up with a myriad of ways to keep herself locked inside. She can’t admit it to herself at first because she doesn’t want to believe it, but deep down, she’s afraid to go in public again after being attacked.
It’s clear that Fallon is dealing with some pretty significant PTSD after the attack from Evan, but Fallon Carrington can’t admit to needing help without a little bit of a push.

While Fallon may be hurting and dealing with the trauma of the event that put Kirby and her father on bed rest, it doesn’t change the fact that watching her attempt to be Nurse Fallon is hilarious. She hasn’t lifted her finger to do any hard, meticulous labor in her entire life, so to think that she would out of the blue be the best nurse is hysterical.
My favorite moment from Nurse Fallon is her giving Kirby a chemical burn on her face because she didn’t care to read the instructions of what she was putting on Kirby’s face. However, what makes the episode is the scenes with Fallon and Liam.
Fallon is dealing with the stress in her own way without trying to involve anyone else too much in her feelings, but that doesn’t stop her from attempting to make it up to Liam. It’s understandable to want to take your honeymoon trip, but I would be ecstatic if someone took the time to bring a vacation to me in my backyard.

Liam can be upset that Fallon won’t share what’s troubling her, but he can’t be mad at the thought that she put into the setup of the fake Bora Bora. While Fallon may not be able to voice her struggles about how she feels, that doesn’t change the fact that she’s still trying her best not to interfere with anyone else’s life.
I love that we see this side of Fallon and not just watching her carry on as if nothing happened. While Fallon may be a multimillionaire with everything available at the snap of her finger, that doesn’t mean that she can’t experience the same trauma as anyone else.
If there’s one absolute thing that I want to come from this season, it’s the downfall of Adam Carrington, and I want Anders to be the one to bring him to his knees finally. His relationship with Kirby will never be the same if he continues down the path of bringing Adam to justice, but she’ll have to learn to get over it.
Adam’s actions and Anders’ actions are in no way, shape, or form comparable, so for Kirby to act as if Adam has done bad things in the same manner as everyone else is outrageous. Yes, Anders did make a mistake sending Kirby away as a kid, but his actions cannot be compared to Adam killing people and being a manipulative psychopath.

Anders makes it known that he will stop the investigation into Adam because he “proved” that he loves Kirby, but I hope he continues.
There’s nothing more that I want in this world than Adam to go down for tricking Steven into a mental facility. If Anders ends up cracking Steven’s case open by the end of the season, I’ll be buying a bottle of champagne to celebrate.
Other Thoughts:
- Anders revealing to Adam that he’s caught him admitting murder on tape is such a ballsy move because Adam could’ve easily attacked him and solved that issue right there.
- Blake thinks paying his physical therapist to be bad at her job so that Cristal will take over is such a smart move, that is, until she figures it out and it blows up in his face.
- I can’t wait to see Jeff move into the Carrington Manor because the drama between him and Alexis is bound to be delicious.
Favorite Quotes:
- “You can’t feel claustrophobic in a house with 17 rooms.” – Fallon Carrington.
- “Could you get me some extra olives? Oh, and then pack your bags. You’re fired. Be a dove and tell the rest of Blake’s personal staff that they have met the same fate.” – Alexis Carrington.
- “Upset? No. No. Why would I be upset? I mean, this is the kind of wedding day that every little girl dreams of, one that starts with a twisted ankle and ends with a knife at her throat, and it’s what fairytales are made of. Somebody should call Disney.” – Fallon Carrington.
