This month, Disney+ releases The Falcon and The Winter Solider and takes us back to a childhood favorite with The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers. Meanwhile, Amazon Prime Video is reuniting us with Akeem and Semmi with Coming 2 America.

Here are our picks for what to stream in March:

Vivian decides to take a page out of her mother’s book and publish an underground zine that exposes wrongdoing in her school. Her zine starts a revolution. Moxie premieres on March 3 on Netflix.

Film Description: Vivian (Hadley Robinson), a seemingly shy 16-year-old, has always preferred to keep her head down and fly under the radar. But when the arrival of a new student (Alycia Pascual-Peña) forces her to examine the unchecked behavior of her fellow students running rampant at her high school, Vivian realizes she’s fed up. Inspired by her mother’s (Amy Poehler) rebellious past, Vivian anonymously publishes an underground zine called Moxie to expose bias and wrongdoing in her high school, and unexpectedly sparks a movement. Now at the center of a revolution, Vivian begins to forge new friendships with other young women and allies, reaching across the divide of cliques and clubs as they learn to navigate the highs and lows of high school together.

Boss Level (Hulu) – March 5

Hulu is giving us another time loop movie, although the premise of this one is a bit darker than Palm Springs. Watch Roy Pulver repeat the day of this death and try to uncover the truth behind a secret government project on Boss Level, which debuts on March 5 on Hulu.

Film Description: Trapped in a time loop that constantly repeats the day of his murder, former special forces agent Roy Pulver (Frank Grillo) uncovers clues about a secret government project that could unlock the mystery behind his untimely death. In a race against the clock, Pulver must hunt down Colonel Ventor (Mel Gibson), the powerful head of the government program, while outrunning skilled ruthless assassins determined to keep him from the truth in order to break out of the loop, save his ex-wife (Naomi Watts) and live once again for tomorrow.

Coming 2 America (Amazon Prime Video) – March 5

It’s time to check back in with Akeem and Semmi. Coming 2 America premieres on March 5 on Amazon Prime Video.

Film Description: Set in the lush and royal country of Zamunda, newly-crowned King Akeem (Eddie Murphy) and his trusted confidante Semmi (Arsenio Hall) embark on an all-new hilarious adventure that has them traversing the globe from their great African nation to the borough of Queens, New York — where it all began. Original cast favorites from Coming to America return including King Jaffe Joffer (James Earl Jones), Queen Lisa (Shari Headley), Cleo McDowell (John Amos), Maurice (Louie Anderson) and the motley barbershop crew. Joining this star-studded ensemble are Wesley Snipes, Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, Jermaine Fowler, Bella Murphy, Rotimi, KiKi Layne, Nomzamo Mbatha and Teyana Taylor, making Coming 2 America the most anticipated comedy film of the year.

Genera+ion (HBO Max) – March 11

If you’re looking for a show to fill the Euphoria-shaped void in your life, GENERA+ION maybe the show for you. The first three episodes of GENERA+ION premiere on March 11 on HBO Max with two episodes a week releasing after that.

Series Description: GENERA+ION is a dark yet playful half-hour series following a diverse group of high school students whose exploration of modern sexuality (devices and all) tests deeply entrenched beliefs about life, love and the nature of family in their conservative community.

Cherry (Apple TV+) – March 12

After returning home from war, Cherry finds himself battling PTSD and making one bad decision after another, causing him to risk losing the love of his life. Based on a novel of the same name, Cherry premieres on March 12 on Apple TV+.

Film Description: Cherry follows the wild journey of a disenfranchised young man from Ohio who meets the love of his life, only to risk losing her through a series of bad decisions and challenging life circumstances. Inspired by the best-selling novel of the same name, Cherry features Tom Holland in the title role as an unhinged character who drifts from dropping out of college to serving in Iraq as an Army medic and is only anchored by his one true love, Emily (Ciara Bravo). When Cherry returns home a war hero, he battles the demons of undiagnosed PTSD and spirals into drug addiction, surrounding himself with a menagerie of depraved misfits. Draining his finances, Cherry turns to bank robbing to fund his addiction, shattering his relationship with Emily along the way. Brought to the screen in bold, gritty fashion by visionary directors Anthony and Joe Russo, Cherry is a darkly humorous, unflinching coming-of-age story of a man on a universal quest for purpose and human connection.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier (Disney+) – March 19

The chaotic duo of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes is back. They are teaming up to save the day and hopefully not driving each other insane in the process. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier premieres on March 19 on Disney +.

Series Description: Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and The Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson aka The Falcon, and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier. The pair, who came together in the final moments of Avengers: Endgame, team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities — and their patience.

Katharine McPhee and Eddie Cibrian star in this new Netflix comedy that follows an aspiring singer, Bailey (McPhee), as she nannies for Beau’s (Cibrian) musically inclined children. Country Comfort drops on March 19 on Netflix.

Series Description: When her career and personal life get derailed, an aspiring young country singer named Bailey (Katharine McPhee) takes a job as a nanny for a rugged cowboy named Beau (Eddie Cibrian) and his five children. With a never-give up attitude and loads of Southern charm, this newbie-nanny is able to navigate the family dynamics and be the mother figure they’ve been missing. To her surprise, Bailey also gets the band she’s been missing in this musically talented family who help get her back on the road to stardom.

Solar Opposites Season 2 (Hulu) – March 26

After their escape mission fails, this misfit group of aliens is back for more chaos. Solar Opposites Season 2 drops March 26 on Hulu.

Series Description: Solar Opposites centers around a team of four aliens who escape their exploding home world only to crash land into a move-in ready home in suburban America. They are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Justin Roiland) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love humans and all their TV, junk food and fun stuff. Their mission: protect the Pupa, a living super computer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them and terraform the Earth. On season two of Solar Opposites, the Solar Opposites take it bigger, funnier, and more opposite than ever before. 

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers (Disney+) – March 26

The sequel to the beloved classic, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers takes us back to Minnesota and the hockey team we fell in love with all those years ago. The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers premieres on March 26 on Disney+.

Series Description: Set in present day Minnesota, the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan Morrow (Brady Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom, Alex (Lauren Graham), set out to build their own team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of youth sports today. With the help of Gordon Bombay, they rediscover the joys of playing just for love of the game.

Invincible Season 1 (Amazon Prime Video) – March 26

From the creator of The Walking Dead, Invincible follows Mark as he copes with his father being one of the most powerful superheroes. The first three episodes of Invincible premiere on March 26 on Amazon Prime Video with new episodes premiering Fridays.

Series Description: Mark Grayson, 17, is just like every other guy his age — except that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man; as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.
