The Hardy Boys (Hulu) – December 4

A re-imaging of a childhood classic is making its way to Hulu. The Hardy family moves from the city to the small town of Bridgeport for the summer, and soon their summer becomes consumed by an investigation. The Hardy Boys premieres on December 4 on Hulu.
Series Description: After a family tragedy strikes, Frank Hardy (Rohan Campbell), 16, and his brother Joe (Alexander Elliot), 12, are forced to move from the big city to their parent’s hometown of Bridgeport for the summer. Staying with their Aunt Trudy (Bea Santos), Frank and Joe’s quiet summer quickly comes to a halt when they discover their dad, detective Fenton Hardy (James Tupper) has taken on a secret investigation. Realizing that their Dad may be onto something the boys take it upon themselves to start an investigation of their own, and suddenly everyone in town is a suspect.
Selena: The Series (Netflix) – December 4

Netflix is taking us into the life Selena Quintanilla, the beloved Tejano singer, with this docuseries. Selena: The Series drops on Netflix on December 4.
Series Description: As Mexican-American Tejano singer Selena comes of age and realizes her dreams, she and her family make tough choices to hold on to love and music.
Godmothered (Disney+) – December 4

When you’re young, you dream that a fairy godmother will come and make your wishes come true and your problems disappear. For Mackenzie, her fairy godmother comes a bit too late and has no idea what she’s doing. Godmothered premieres on December 4 on Disney+.
Film Description: Set at Christmas time, Godmothered is a comedy about Eleanor, a young, inexperienced fairy godmother-in-training (Jillian Bell), who upon hearing that her chosen profession is facing extinction, decides to show the world that people still need fairy godmothers. Finding a mislaid letter from a 10-year-old girl in distress, Eleanor tracks her down and discovers that the girl, Mackenzie, is now a 40-year-old single mom (Isla Fisher) working at a news station in Boston. Having losther husband several years earlier, Mackenzie has all but given up on the idea of “happily ever after,” but Eleanor is bound and determined to give Mackenzie a happiness makeover, whether she likes it or not
Mank (Netflix) – December 4

David Fincher’s latest film takes us back to 1930s Hollywood, exploring the origins of the film, Citizen Kane. Mank premieres on December 4 on Netflix.
Film Description: 1930s Hollywood is re-evaluated through the eyes of scathing social critic and alcoholic screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz as he races to finish the screenplay of Citizen Kane for Orson Welles.
Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special (Apple TV+) – December 4

Who better to celebrate Christmas with than Mariah Carey herself? Tune into the holiday spectacular, Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special, on Apple TV+ on December 4.
Description: Faced with a holiday cheer crisis, the North Pole knows there’s only one person who can save the day: Santa’s great friend, Mariah Carey. Combining musical performances, dynamic dancing, and groundbreaking animation, the undisputed Queen of Christmas jumps into action to create a holiday spectacular to make the whole world merry.
Let Them All Talk (HBO Max) – December 10

Sometimes in life, friends drift apart, and coming back together isn’t always easy. Let Them All Talk premieres on December 10 on HBO Max.
Film Description: Let Them All Talk tells the story of a celebrated author (Meryl Streep) who takes a journey with some old friends (Candice Bergen and Dianne Wiest) to have some fun and heal old wounds. Her nephew (Lucas Hedges) comes along to wrangle the ladies as well as her new literary agent (Gemma Chan) who is desperate to find out about her next book.
The Prom (Netflix) – December 11

An A-list cast is bringing the Broadway musical, The Prom, to Netflix. Broadway stars arrive in a conservative town in Indiana to support a young girl who wants to bring her girlfriend to the prom. The Prom debuts on Netflix on December 11.
Film Description: Dee Dee Allen (three-time Academy Award winner Meryl Streep) and Barry Glickman (Tony Award winnerJames Corden) are New York City stage stars with a crisis on their hands: their expensive new Broadway show is a major flop that has suddenly flatlined their careers. I’m Your Woman (Amazon Prime Video) – December 11

A thriller set in the 1970s, I’m Your Woman follows Jean as she goes on the run with her young child. I’m Your Woman premieres on December 11 on Amazon Prime Video.

Wolfwalkers (Apple TV+) – December 11

Initially setting out to destroy the last wolf pack, a young woman finds herself drawn further into the world of the wolfwalkers — people who have the ability to become wolves at night. Wolfwalkers premieres on December 11 on Apple TV+.
Film Description: In a time of superstition and magic, a young apprentice hunter, Robyn Goodfellowe, journeys to Ireland with her father to wipe out the last wolf pack. Safety (Disney+) – December 11

Disney+ introduces us to Ray, a football player at Clemson University who stepped up to care for his 11-year-old brother. Inspired by true events, Safety drops on Disney+ on December 11.
Film Description: Safety is a drama inspired by the empowering story of former Clemson University football safety Ray McElrathbey (Jay Reeves), a young man facing a series of challenging circumstances, whose dedication and persistence help him to triumph over repeated adversities. The Stand (CBS All Access) – December 17

Adapted from the beloved novel by Stephen King, The Stand transports us to a world that’s been destroyed by a plague where good and evil are at war. The Stand premieres on CBS All Access on December 17.

Bridgerton (Netflix) – December 25

Lady Whistledown invites you to the social event of the season, one full of romance, scandal, and drama. Bridgerton premieres on December 25 on Netflix.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 4 (Netflix) – December 31

It’s time to bid farewell to Sabrina and her friends in Greendale. Will anyone get a happily ever after or is the series a bit too dark for such wishful thoughts? Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 4 premieres on December 31 on Netflix.
