Supermarket Sweep – Sunday, October 18

The beloved 90s game show is back and ready to fill a nostalgic space in everyone’s schedule as Saturday Night Live’s Leslie Jones takes a turn as a host. Supermarket Sweep’s return debuts Sunday, October 19 at 8/7c on ABC.
Darkness: Those Who Kill – Monday, October 19

Acorn’s latest psychological thriller follows two investigators on the trail of a serial killer that kidnaps his victims in Copenhagen. As the pair continue down the path, will they be able to find them and take them out? Darkness: Those Who Kill debuts Monday, October 19 on Acorn.
Series Description: This chilling psychological thriller follows the gruesome trail of a kidnapping serial killer and the two investigators trying to find his most recent victims before it’s too late. After the disappearances and deaths of numerous young women in the suburbs of Copenhagen, Investigator Jan Michelsen (Kenneth M. Christensen, Warrior) and Profiler Louise Bergstein (Natalie Madueño, Follow the Money) must come together and apply their own specialized skill sets to solve the grisly case and hopefully save lives.
Rebecca – Wednesday, October 21

Lily James and Armie Hammer star in the latest adaptation of the popular thriller as it follows a newly married couple settling in to their lives together at a large estate. But when the young woman begins uncovering details about her new husband’s late wife, courtesy of the housekeeper, she begins to unravel. Rebecca debuts Wednesday, October 21 on Netflix.
Movie Description: After a whirlwind romance in Monte Carlo with handsome widower Maxim de Winter (Armie Hammer), a newly married young woman (Lily James) arrives at Manderley, her new husband’s imposing family estate on a windswept English coast. Black-ish – Wednesday, October 21

The Johnsons are back and dealing with life in the pandemic on the official Season 7 premiere as everyone learns to deal with the quarantine lockdown, living with an essential worker, and more. Black-ish returns Wednesday, October 21 at 9:30/8:30c on ABC.
Episode Description: The season premiere of “black-ish” takes us to the beginning of the global pandemic for the Johnsons. As a first responder, Bow receives her family’s praise for her work, with Junior being her biggest fan. But over time, the family loses their enthusiasm, and Bow discovers someone in her house is breaking the quarantine lockdown rules. Meanwhile, Dre tries to convince everyone that he too is an essential worker.
The Witches – Thursday, October 22

With an amazing cast, HBO Max is bringing us this reimagined tale of an orphaned boy that goes to live with his grandmother and crosses paths with a powerful witch and her coven. The Witches debuts Thursday, October 22 on HBO Max.

An ambitious woman in the late ’80s decides to change up her hair for the purpose of fitting in with the image-obsessed industry she’s about to enter. However, when her hair takes on a mind of its own, things start to unfurl in this horror satire. Bad Hair debuts Friday, October 23 on Hulu.
Movie Description: In this horror satire set in 1989, BAD HAIR follows an ambitious young woman (Elle Lorraine) who gets a weave in order to succeed in the image-obsessed world of music television. However, her flourishing career comes at a great cost when she realizes that her new hair may have a mind of its own.
Over the Moon – Friday, October 23

A young girl’s quest to prove the existence of the Moon Goddess has her using her love of science to build a rocket ship to get to the moon. Will she find her? Over the Moon debuts Friday, October 23 on Netflix.

Netflix’s latest limited series follows the life of a young genius as she grows in a Kentucky orphanage, developing her chess playing skills, and the struggles that follow. The Queen’s Gambit debuts Friday, October 23 on Netflix.
