Netflix Announces ‘The Crown’ Season 4 Premiere Date, Releases First Teaser
While the rest of the world is in a TV drought, Netflix’s royal family is soldiering on.
The streaming network has announced that acclaimed drama The Crown will premiere its fourth season on Sunday, Nov. 15.
A short teaser featuring new cast members Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher and Emma Corrin as Princess Diana, has also been released.

The video begins with Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II stating, “something as important as the monarchy simply cannot be allowed to fail.”
Then there are a few moments of Anderson’s Thatcher, with a final shot of Diana in her famous wedding gown.
In addition to Colman, The Crown Season 4 will once again star Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip, Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret, and Josh O’Connor as Prince Charles.

Fans need to enjoy every moment of Season 4, since The Crown Season 5 is not set to debut until 2022. Earlier this year, creator Peter Morgan announced that the series would now end with Season 6.
Season 5 will feature another cast change, as Imelda Staunton takes over as Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce plays Prince Philip, Lesley Manville becomes Princess Margaret, and Elizabeth Debicki portrays Princess Diana.
