It may be a new year, but the Pearsons are still getting up to their old tricks.
This Is Us Season 4 Episode 10, “Lights and Shadows,” previews the start of the seasonal Pearson family meltdown.
This is when the hit drama buckles down on the brewing drama and delivers some of its best work. This is also when everything can fall apart rather quickly for This Is Us.
Thankfully, we have appearances from John Legend, Sophia Bush, and Pamela Adlon to look forward to when the series officially returns from hiatus. That’s one hell of a way to start the new year off right if you ask me.
This episode promises a riveting reintroduction as it sets its sights on Rebecca’s parents’ dislike for Jack as a romantic suitor (honestly how?) and Randall’s recent neglect for his own mental health. This premiere will also serve as an introduction to a three-part episode event featuring the big three that will kick off later with “A Hell of a Week: Part On.”
With an abundance of shiny things and guest appearances to keep us occupied, here’s to hoping this back half of Season 4 can keep the momentum going and the good times rolling.
