Tracker Season 3 Episode 7 Review: Eat the Rich
Tracker Season 3 Episode 7, “Eat the Rich,” proves why the show is a major success.
The episode is a reminder of why Tracker is such a good show in the first place, with the exciting narrative, shocking twists, and iconic character moments.
Colter finally makes progress regarding the mystery surrounding his father’s death by meeting up with the son of one of his father’s former colleagues.

While Colter does not learn much, he does know there seems to be a strange connection between this person, David Pearson, and Ashton Shaw.
Little is known about this connection, but depending on how the writers of Tracker handle it, this reveal could take the mystery to astonishing new heights, or create a standstill the show cannot come back from.
It will be fascinating to see how Tracker unravels Colter’s new information.
Aside from Ashton Shaw’s death, “Eat the Rich” presents a compelling missing persons case, easily one of Tracker‘s best yet.
The fast pace is so brutal that it is a little overwhelming and even difficult to follow at first. However, once Colter discovers a strong lead with the Benning family, the pace slows just enough to allow a coherent narrative to unfold while remaining action-packed.

Each plot twist on “Eat the Rich” is riveting and raises the stakes even more, especially with Colter’s life on the line.
It is unknown whether Noelle is even alive because almost every encounter Colter has with someone results in a death. It certainly does not help that gunshots went off at the beginning of the episode. However, it makes the narrative much more exciting.
Reenie finally appears on “Eat the Rich” after her absence. Even though Reenie is only in a few scenes, her plot is significant enough to pique interest.
Notably, Reenie lies to Colter about her circumstances. It is clear that she does not want Colter to know about her romantic life, and the narrative underscores this.
Why is it so important for Reenie to lie to Colter about her dalliances? Tracker could be teasing a potential romance sometime in the future, but their dynamic is at a standstill for now.

Reenie and Colter’s interactions are always fun, compelling, and a little flirty, so only time will tell if Tracker plans to do something about it.
Dale: Whatever it is that brought you here… I hope you find it.
One of the best parts on “Eat the Rich” is its ending, which includes an iconic moment for Colter and a potential setup for a future storyline.
Noelle is home safe, and the authorities close the case, thinking they have the perpetrators, Graham Benning and Milo Simmons. However, MC, the Benning family’s lawyer, gets away with her meddling once again.
Colter has had one too many encounters with people like MC in the past—people who cover up scandals, destroy documentation, and remove any self-incriminating evidence, despite their involvement in illegal activities.

It is frustrating that MC gets away with orchestrating Graham’s death. Thankfully, Colter knows the truth, and the confrontation is an epic way to end the episode.
Not only does Colter subtly suggest that he will ensure her demise, but it seems like “Eat the Rich” will not be MC’s only appearance.
Colter: The thing is with people like you, you slip up. You’re gonna make a mistake and you’re gonna get caught.
MC: Maybe. But it’s not gonna be today.
Colter: But it will happen. I just hope I’m here to see it when it does.
MC is a fantastic antagonist, and the prospect of her return is undoubtedly exciting.
MC’s next appearance should be in an unrelated case that would not suggest the Benning family’s involvement. However, once the narrative reveals MC, it becomes quite evident that this future case is right up her alley.
Hopefully, Tracker will bring back MC in a future episode to raise the stakes once more, and Colter will be present when MC is finally taken down and brought to justice.
