Preview — Supergirl Season 4 Episode 10: Suspicious Minds

Previews, Supergirl

Before heading over to Earth 1 to help Oliver and Barry in this year’s CW Arrowvese crossover, Elseworlds, Supergirl concluded the first half of its fourth season with Supergirl Season 4 Episode 8, “Bunker Hill”

At the end of “Bunker Hill,” Kara and the gang had successfully exposed Ben Lockwood as the terrorist Agent Liberty and sent him off to jail. But rather than diminishing his influence, being captured and defeated by Supergirl only seemed to solidify his popularity among his supporters, perhaps making him more powerful than ever.

Making matters even worse, as he was being arrested and taken to prison, Lockwood challenged Kara to reveal her secret identity to the world and creating a cloud of suspicion about how little the public actually knows about her. It was a cloud so powerful, that the President demanded Supergirl reveal her secret identity or be fired from the DEO, of which Kara chose the latter.

When Supergirl returns on January 20th with Supergirl Season 4 Episode 10, “Suspicious Minds” Kara, and her friends at the DEO, will have to grapple with the fall out of from the events of “Bunker Hill” and the demand to reveal who she is.

Not only will Kara have to deal with growing pressure and suspicion surrounding her, she will have to figure out how to be Supergirl without the support of the DEO or official support from Alex. For the first time since the Red Kryptonite incident from Supergirl Season 1, Kara will have to find a way to rebuild trust with a public that seems to be turning on her.

Elsewhere in “Suspicious Minds’ Brainy and Nia’s relationship seems like it will continue to evolve and viewers will learn more about Nia’s relationship to her powers and how much she already understands about them.
