Riverdale: Skeet Ulrich and Mädchen Amick Talk “The Farm” and What’s Next For Falice [Video]
At San Diego Comic-Con, we had the chance to speak with Riverdale stars Skeet Ulrich and Mädchen Amick during a roundtable interview about the surprisingly enthusiastic fan interest in the relationship between FP and Alice and what’s to come for Falice in Season 3 — including how the creepy “Farm” Polly is involved with will play into the story.
While Riverdale has no shortage of ships among the teen characters, the pairing of FP and Alice is by far the most popular one among the parents.
Ulrich and Amick both admitted that they were surprised by the enthusiasm with which viewers took to the reveal of their characters’ past relationship and its long-awaited reemergence in Season 2.

“I’m still surprised! It’s rabid! It’s always interesting,” Ulrich said, joking about how often Amick would pick up her phone to share some Falice content to rile the fans up.
“I think they’re both very fiery characters. So every time you see them together, you know something’s going to happen, whether it’s positive or negative. I think our audience enjoys that,” Amick added.
Things certainly progressed between FP and Alice throughout the second season, including an off-screen hook-up. But Season 3 will bring its own challenges for the pair and for each character individually.
In particular, Alice — still reeling from the reveal that her now former husband, Hal, was the serial killer known as the Black Hood — will fall under the spell of the mysterious “Farm” where Polly has been staying since Season 1.
“Alice was in a really vulnerable place at the end of Season 2, and I think that was a really good opportunity for Polly to present something she thought would be a good fix. And when Alice goes in, she goes in all the way,” Amick said.
“Alice is really searching to try to heal herself. She might be exploring some things.”
