9 Things We Want From Supergirl Season 3
7. Eliza Danvers

Eliza Danvers pops in a couple times each season for holidays and random episodes here and there, but we’d love to see her have a more active role on the show. She’s a wonderful mom to both Alex and Kara, who goes above and beyond to make sure that her girls know they are loved, but for some reason we don’t get to see her very often.
With a mom who loves her kids that much, and kids who get into danger as often as Kara and Alex do, you’d think Supergirl would make Eliza seem a little more present. We hope to see more of this Danvers in Season 3, especially if they pick up the plot with Jeremiah/Cadmus from Season 2.
8. SuperGIRLS

The best thing about Supergirl has always been it’s variety of lady heroes. Kara is a fantastic lead, but she’s surrounded by women who are all super in their own ways as well.
When Supergirl is at it’s peak, it’s showing girls that they can be anything they want: a superhero, a military officer, a cop, a CEO, a scientist, a mom, and/or even President. These are roles that girls all too often get excluded from in fiction and in reality. We want more of these incredible women leading the way.
9. Super Kara

Supergirl herself was a little all over the place in Season 2. In Season 3, we want to see more of Kara being Supergirl, and we want to see it making her happy again. There’s a reason Kara loves what she does, and we want to see her get that spark back.
We want to see more of Kara being an inspiration and being proud of herself and the things she’s done.
Supergirl doesn’t need to take itself too seriously or become something dark and gritty to be a show that we love. The Supergirl we love is full of life and love and laughter and, above all, hope. We can’t wait to see more of that in Season 3.
