Previews, The Way Home

The Way Home kicks off its final season with The Way Home Season 4 Episode 1, “Show Me the Way to Go Home.”

For those who need a bit of a refresher, The Way Home Season 3 ended with a pretty big reveal. Viewers learned that the baby left abandoned by the pond was none other than our very own Elliot.

More than that, shocking twists, we also see Elliot’s mom jump into the pond with a mysterious member of the Landry family. Assuming she is still alive, that means that not only is Elliot not Victor’s biological son, but that his mom has also been living her life out of time wherever the pond deposited her after that jump.

From the looks of the promo, the search for Elliot’s mom and answers about his past will be a significant storyline in Season 4.

But that wasn’t the only development during the Season 3 finale that will have ripple effects in Season 4.

First, Del took her first time-traveling trip via the pond to relive her wedding day and get some closure on her relationship with Colton. We have to assume, or I guess hope, that it won’t be her last trip.

Perhaps more significantly, the finale confirmed that Del’s sort of love interest, Sam, has his own connection to the pond. We also confirmed that while Casey isn’t Alice’s daughter, she is from the future. The identities of both Sam and Casey are questions the series will hopefully answer before it wraps this season.

What answer are you most hoping to get in The Way Home’s swan song season?
