We caught up with executive producer Jeff Davis at San Diego Comic-Con to talk awkward reunions, returning characters, and Teen Wolf Season 6B.

For Davis, there’s nothing like the OG team. They started this show and helped it become the phenomenon it is today. So seeing them return felt seeing bits of the past come back to life in the present.

“I’m really happy with all the actors that came back, and the story lines are really fun. I love seeing Hoechlin back with J.R. and back with O’Brien.”

His only regret is that they didn’t have more time with the returning actors like Jackson.

“I actually wish I could’ve signed them up for more episodes so that we could’ve had more interactions like that. Things like Jackson saying to Theo, ‘Who the f-ck are you?'”

Davis did tease that one of his favorite upcoming scenes was with Jackson, Lydia, and Stiles.

“I loved seeing Colton and Holland in a scene again. There’s a very fun scene where Jackson, Lydia, and Stiles finally meet up, and it’s a very awkward scene. So, it’s really fun. Seeing those things are going to be really fun for the audience, I think.”

5 Things We Learned About ‘Teen Wolf’ at San Diego Comic-Con

Lyra is a TV and movie enthusiast. It all started on a dark night when she turned on Fox and fell in love with the X-Files. It was all history after that as she got lost in Doctor Who, The Marvel Verse and most recently everything DC. Her love for Doctor Who lead her to study abroad, where she fell into live-tweeting and the lovely explosion of fandom life that Tumblr is. Her main love for the summer (with a mega re-watch happening) is Arrow. When she isn’t sharing her love for TV and movies she’s writing fan-fiction, taking care of her family, and puttering around her kitchen.
