With a new showrunner in place for its second season, Queen of the South is sure to impress after its high stakes first season. After a violent and intense Season 1, we saw our favorite characters being thrusted into new directions and Season 2 picks up on their journeys.

The series is based riveting book “La Reina Del Sur,” by internationally acclaimed author Arturo Pérez-Reverte, and we cannot wait to see what’s in store for Season 2.

2. Wynonna Earp (SyFy, June 9 at 10/9c)

With this season promising even more Wayhaught and the Black Badge Division, we cannot wait for it to be back. Season 2 picks up right after the chilling finale and we will be at the edge of the seats to find out what Agent Dolls is and if Waverly is in fact an Earp.

3. Dark Matter (SyFy, June 9 at 8/7c then moving to 9/8c)

Dark Matter is back for Season 3 and it looks like bad guys do have all the fun. With Ryo, formally known as Four, hinted as enemy number one in the trailer, we for one are ready for the action.

We know that Two, Three, and Six survive and the Android has become an enhanced badass, so what will this season bring for the crew of the Raza? Luckily for us, we get a two-hour season premiere to kick off the summer.

4. Orange is the New Black (Netflix, June 9)

The ladies in Litchfield will show us what looks to be a wild ride as Season 5 will be presented in a real-time format for the viewers.  Orange is the New Black has not shied away from controversial topics and this season is no different. From the little we do know, it might be the best season yet with thought-provoking scenes, some intense drama, and of course comedic relief.

5. Orphan Black (BBC America, June 10 10/9c)

Though not many details have been shared of the final season of Orphan Black, many are hoping for a series finale that won’t disappoint. It has been a twisted, complex and sometimes bloody road for our favorite clones, and we expect no different from Season 5.

There are not enough adjectives to summarize the fierceness and astonishing talent of Tatiana Maslany, so we have no doubt we will be blown away with the final season.

6. Claws (TNT, June 11)

Claws is a nail salon focused dramedy, which tells the story of a diverse group of people connected to the salon and its owner played by Niecy Nash.

With more going on behind the scenes than pedicures and haircuts, mixed in with the complex stories of the characters that work there, this might be the new direction that helps TNT gain a new audience. From what we have seen, this season looks like it is going to be hilarious and a wild ride.
