ABC Announces Programming for the 2017/2018 Season

Dancing with the Stars, Designated Survivor, Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family, News, Once Upon a Time, Pinned, Scandal, The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, The Goldbergs, The Good Doctor

You’re going to see some familiar faces next season on ABC, and not just from returning staples like Grey’s Anatomy and Modern Family.

The network announced its programming schedule for the 2017/2018 season, which includes comedies led by Zack Braff (Scrubs) and Jenna Fischer (The Office), and new Shondaland drama, For the People.

We can also look forward to the revival of classic sitcom, Roseanne, which is currently slated to air in 2018.

The eight-episode reboot will feature the original cast: Roseanne Barr (Roseanne), John Goodman (Dan), Sara Gilbert (Darlene), Laurie Metcalf (Jackie), Michael Fishman (D.J.), and Lecy Goranson (Becky). Sarah Chalke will also return, but will be playing a different role.

Other new series to look forward to from ABC include Marvel’s Inhumans; The Good Doctor starring Freddie Highmore; The Gospel of Kevin, starring Jason Ritter; and Ten Days in the Valley, starring Kyra Sedgwick.

On the reality front, we’ll get the return of American Idol, new seasons of Dancing with the Stars and The Bachelor, along with spin-offs of both Dancing with the Stars and The Bachelor (Dancing with the Stars Junior and The Bachelor Winter Games).
