Gilmore Girls Star Alexis Bledel Joining the Cast of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’

Gilmore Girls, News

I don’t think we’re in Stars Hollow anymore.

Gilmore Girls star Alexis Bledel is returning to our TV screens yet again, and in a role that’s quite different than what we’ve seen her do before.

We were recently excited to see the return of Alexis Bledel as Rory Gilmore for the four-part Gilmore Girls revival series, and now we’ll get to see her on an upcoming Hulu series.

According to TV Line, Bledel has been cast in a major role alongside Elisabeth Moss in Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale.

The Handmaid’s Tale is based on Margaret Atwood’s dystopian novel of the same name (if you haven’t read it, you should go ahead and do that now), where women are kept for reproductive purposes in a totalitarian government.
