Tell Tale TV’s Top Moments From Oct 30 – Nov 5
This week’s picks from the Tell-Tale TV team include one character’s breakdown, one character’s resurgence, and another character’s First Time.
Not everything can be listed, but here are the top TV moments from this week in no particular order.
From Dusk Till Dawn

The finale starts out with what everyone assumed was a flashback to Seth and Richie in their bank robbing days, but it turns out to be so much better than that.
Kate, after defeating Amaru, decides that she wants to rejoin her old partner and rob banks. That’s right, Kate Gecko is in full swing, and it is glorious. You, be cool.
Lucifer

Lucifer showing Dr. Linda his true face at the end of this week’s episode. Both Tom Eliis and Rachael Harris were terrific as Dr. Linda’s frozen face sold the shock of the moment. That moment has changed everything now and we can’t wait to see what happens next.
You’re the Worst

In the final scene of this week’s You’re The Worst, Jimmy looks at his life from the outside and realizes everything in his life might be wrong, including Gretchen. The expression on Gretchen’s face when Jimmy does not sit next to her on the couch was absolutely heartbreaking.
Jane The Virgin

“Chapter Forty-Seven” is one for the books. Our favorite TV virgin is a virgin no more! In this superb episode, Jane loses her virginity to Michael, and it is handled with the sophistication, delicacy, and nuance that a fan could hope for.
Jane’s first time was not how she expected it to be, but as the episode evolved, Jane came to terms with the gravity of the occasion, including confronting the deep-seated issues revolving her “crushed flower,” and being open with Michael about her lack of pleasure.
Ultimately, Jane and Michael figured out what wasn’t working in bed by reviewing their own sex-tape, and ended up having great sex. Good for them!
Pitch

Ginny has been handling the pressure on the field pretty well so far, but on this week’s episode of Pitch, the off-the-field stress of being the center of attention finally got to her. It was touching to see everyone come together to support her and make sure she knew they were there to help.
Lyndsy Fonseca was especially great in her guest starring role as Cara. She could have just comforted Ginny when she had her breakdown, but she went above and beyond by bringing it to Amelia’s attention just out of concern for Ginny’s well-being. It would be nice to see her return so Ginny can have a female friend to talk to who’s not a part of the baseball world.
