Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 Episode 6 Preview: Need for Speed
The crew’s R&R is once again interrupted by a life-or-death crisis on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 Episode 6, “Off-Hour.”
The last time the crew of the Enterprise tried to get some rest was on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 Episode 3, “Human Best Friend.” That attempt at leave resulted in the crew losing their memories on a pleasure planet, with Scotty and Ortegas having to stop the sabotage of important peace talks.
On “Off-Hour,” the crew once again tries to get some rest by taking advantage of some rare downtime. But, of course, things can never be that easy for the Enterprise, and things once again go off the rails.
This time, the season pays tribute to classic disaster movies, as the ship has a warp emergency that pushes it past its safety limits.
There is not too much to glean from the preview material beyond a basic plot. The only little clue about how this disaster will play out is the two preview images of Dr. M’Benga and Nurse Chapel practically frozen. Dr. M’Benga in particular looks pretty bad.
