The 100 Review: Remember Me (Season 2 Episode 9)
Show of hands, who did NOT see that coming?
From alliances, to top-secret radio missions, to ritual sacrifices, “Remember Me” of The 100 was packed to the gills with plot developments. And thank goodness for it, because we really needed to get this show on the road. There are only seven more episodes, after all!
Now that we’ve finally got a plan of attack on Mount Weather, the pieces really seem to be falling into place. Bellamy and Lincoln present a new dynamic that is just too tempting to resist.
Does anyone else remember when Bellamy tortured the crap out of this guy for information back in Season 1? I do!

Add that to the Reaper problems Lincoln has been having, and it’s a volatile combination. I’m not sure how stealth those two are going to be if they end up trying to tear each others’ limbs off, but I’m willing to watch either way.
Another highlight of “Remember Me” is the appearance of Finn – even if he is dead and gone. Clarke’s subconscious is obviously pretty wracked with guilt, but even as a figment of her imagination, Finn is still looking out for her.
Everyone say it with me: Awwwww.
Lexa continues to astound me at every turn, so it’s no surprise that she delivers the most powerful line from “Remember Me”:
Lexa: The dead are gone, Clarke. The living are hungry.
One of the most impressive aspects of The 100 is how much detail goes into the world building of the show. The writers have created an entire culture for the Grounders, and they make every effort to showcase it. These people are warriors, living in a dangerous world, and their customs and beliefs are so beautifully depicted – even when they are unbelievably gruesome. You just can’t help but see them as a completely independent civilization.

Admittedly, the kids’ story inside Mount Weather pales in comparison to the goings on of the outside world, but that doesn’t mean I’m not still seriously worried for Monty now that he’s been captured. #RescueMonty2k15
