Neagley Renewed for Season 2 at Prime Video
The Reacher universe continues with more Neagley!
The spinoff series has been renewed for a sophomore season just two weeks after its eight-episode debut season premiered on Prime Video.
Amazon shared that the drama series pulled “40 million viewers in its first 13 days of availability,” per TV Line. Plus, the first season “is the number four most-viewed original series debut in Prime Video history, and has achieved 52% of its viewership internationally,” according to Variety.

Neagley stars Maria Sten as the titular character who “becomes hell-bent on justice” when a beloved friend is suspiciously killed.
“Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil,” per its synopsis.
The show debuted on Prime Video on Wednesday, September 16 — the same day that the Reacher Season 4 finale dropped on the streamer.
“Audiences around the world have embraced Frances Neagley as a force all her own,” Peter Friedlander, head of global television for Amazon MGM Studios, said in a statement.

“Maria Sten delivers a commanding, layered performance that drives every episode, and Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton have built a world that is both thrilling and compelling. We are excited to continue this story and explore what’s next for Neagley with our partners at Paramount Television Studios,” Friedlander added.
Alongside Sten, the series stars Greyston Holt, Adeline Rudolph, Jasper Jones. Reacher star Alan Ritchson also appeared as a guest star in Neagley Season 1.
This news also comes on the heels of Prime Video renewing Reacher for a sixth season less than two weeks after its fourth concluded.
“Reacher hits hard. What Lee Child has built and [showrunner] Nick Santora and his creative teams have brought to life is, simply, incredible. Alan Ritchson is Jack Reacher — he’s delivered a performance that has captivated audiences around the world,” Friedlander said in a statement, per The Hollywood Reporter.

“ Together with our partners at Paramount Television Studios, we couldn’t be more excited to continue this journey. Reacher is a truly iconic series, and we’re thrilled to be on the ride with this extraordinary cast and crew for season six,” Friedlander concluded.
Executive producers and co-showrunners Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton created Neagley, which is based on the characters in executive producer Lee Child’s novels.
Don Granger, Sam Hill, Adam Higgs, and Lisa Kussner are also executive producers on the show. Sam Hill directed Neagley‘s first two episodes. Carolyn Harris, Kenny Madrid, and Niko Fernandez oversee the project for Paramount Television Studios.
