Neagley: Reacher Spinoff Series Sets Premiere Date on Prime Video
Over a year after its announcement, Prime Video has released a sneak peek at Reacher‘s upcoming spinoff series, Neagley, ahead of its premiere later this year.
Maria Sten reprises her role as the private investigator Frances Neagley.
“When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell-bent on justice,” per the show’s synopsis.

“Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.”
The Neagley first-look photos appear to take place in the direct aftermath of Neagley’s friend’s death.
Neagley will provide larger context for those photos when it premieres on Wednesday, September 16, on Prime Video.
It will debut all eight episodes of its first season on the same day as Reacher‘s Season 4 finale. The original series is set to return with a three-episode season premiere on Wednesday, August 12.

Prime Video announced its plans to expand the Reacher universe with this spinoff series in October 2024.
“As Reacher continues to resonate with our global customers in a profound way, expanding on the storytelling and characters with a spinoff was an easy decision,” Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon MGM Studios, said at the time.
“With Nick and Nicholas as well as our partners Skydance and CBS Studios, we’re confident this new chapter, starring the amazing Maria Sten, will not only honor the Reacher legacy but also bring fresh energy and excitement to new and longtime fans alike,” Sanders continued.
Alongside Sten, Neagley features the ensemble cast of Greyston Holt as Detective Hudson Riley, Adeline Rudolph as Renee Birdwhistle, Jasper Jones as Keno, Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow, and Damon Herriman as Lawrence Cole.

As the first photos from the show confirm, Alan Ritchson will guest star as Jack Reacher.
Executive producers and co-showrunners Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootan created the show. Like Reacher, Neagley is based on the character in Lee Child’s novels. The author is an executive producer on the project.
Don Granger, Sam Hill, Adam Higgs, and Lisa Kussner also executive produce Neagley. Carolyn Harris, Kenny Madrid, and Niko Fernandez oversee the project for Paramount Television Studios.
Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios produce the show.
