Cupertino Season 1 Episode 2 Preview: Busy Philipps Enters the Scene
Price and Siffre defend their first client on Cupertino Season 1 Episode 2, “Vik & Bo.”
Michael and Olivia’s decision to start a firm defending the Davids against the Goliaths at the end of Cupertino Season 1 Episode 1, “Michael and Olivia,” serendipitously coincides with a disheveled, panicked man coming to them for help doing just that.
We learn on “Vik and Bo” that the man is the episode’s titular Vik, a coder being blamed for a drone killing a spectator at a drone display.
Of course, to keep their fledgling firm going and defend Vik, Price and Siffre will need some funding. Enter Natalia Boutella. Natalia, played by Busy Philipps, is the ex-wife of a Silicon Valley Billionaire with a lot of money and revenge on her mind.
On “Vik and Bo,” Olivia has to convince her to channel that revenge through the firm so they can take down people like her ex.
Elsewhere on the episode, Christy pursues a whistleblower as a potential new client. Will this be just another case of the week, or the start of a more involved storyline that lasts the whole season?
