9-1-1 Season 10 Episode 2 Preview: Chaos Ensues When the Volcano Erupts
9-1-1 Season 10 Episode 2, “Fire in the Hole,” turns up the heat for all of the first responders as the lava threatens to take over Los Angeles.
A definite silver lining is that the emergency getting more intense means that Maddie has to lean on her team at dispatch. Therefore, 9-1-1 can bring in Josh, Linda, and the team to help everyone.
It also looks like “Fire in the Hole” will be spending at least a little more time at the hospital with May. The season trailer shows that May is the one who alerts the 118 about Athena being underground.
Perhaps that scene with May will happen during this episode. Either way, it seems like Ian will check in on May during it all.
As for Athena, there isn’t anything new to glean from the promotional materials. The episode description, however, teases that Athena will run into someone she knows. Given that she’s currently under a jewelry store during a volcano’s eruption, it’s difficult to guess who that person may be.
Above ground, the 118 is hopping across the tops of cars to rescue as many citizens as possible because the road has been swallowed by lava. No pressure!
