What to Watch on TV This Week: All American, Scrubs, East of Eden and More
The schedule for the first half of the week of September 27th mostly features returning shows, while the second half mostly features premieres.
On Fox, The Simpsons and Animal Control return, while over on ABC, the Scrubs revival is back for its second season.
Meanwhile, Hulu is swapping one animated show for another with the Futurama Season 14 finale and the Adventure Time: Side Quests Season 2 premiere.
As for the new shows, Netflix is dropping its adaptation of East of Eden with Florence Pugh, HBO/HBO Max has a new series called War, and AMC+ has a new show with Catherine Zeta-Jones called Kill Jackie.

Episode description: Frank leads the team in a work stoppage, but abandons his cause for the ultimate call – recovering the Seahawks missing mascot.
Futurama – Monday, September 28th
Futurama Season 14 Episode 10 streams Monday, September 28 on Hulu.
Episode description: Fry and his brother sneak into a PG-13 movie as kids with shocking consequences for the future.
All American – Monday, September 28th
All American Season 8 Episode 13 airs Monday, September 28 at 8/7c on CW.
Episode descprition: Spencer navigates one of the toughest and most important days of his life. Meanwhile, Olivia leans on her mom to help her make the right decision. Friends and family, old and new gather as one chapter ends and new chapters begin for our favoirte Crenshaw and Beverly nativs.
Scrubs – Wednesday, September 30th

Adventure Time: Side Quests – Friday, October 2nd
Adventure Time: Side Quests Season 2 premieres Friday, October 2 on Hulu and Disney+.
Season description: Finn and Jake are back for more adventure and even more side quests across the wild, wonderful land of Ooo.
