Slow Horses Season 6 Trailer Features a Surprise Return from a Season 1 Character
Everyone from Slough House is being hunted by an unknown force, and no one knows why. The Slow Horses Season 6 trailer might provide part of an answer that not even Jackson Lamb can understand.
Apple TV released the trailer for Slow Horses Season 6, which premieres on Wednesday, September 16. The six-episode season will release a new episode every week.
With Slow Horses Season 5 ending with Jackson and his team stopping Claude Whelan and Tara’s plans, it looked like Slough House had everything under control. However, this trailer shows that Slough House isn’t out of the rough just yet.
The biggest surprise that Slow Horses Season 6 has to offer is the return of Olivia Cooke’s Sid Baker, who was in Slow Horses Season 1.
During that season, Sid had been shot by an intruder while she was investigating a journalist’s home.
There were some clues that Roddy discovered that suggested that Sid was actually still alive. Now that Sid’s return is confirmed, it appears that Slough House may have another mystery on their hands to solve.
However, Jackson isn’t letting that get in the way of his case. He’s got his hands full with MI5 First Desk Diana Taverner and is trying to get answers as to why members of Slough House keep dying.
Meanwhile, everyone who’s connected to Lamb is gathered together.
None of them are safe, as Slow Horses Season 6’s logline reveals they’ll be constantly moving. “Season six sees the Slow Horses on the run as Diana Taverner embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge,” it reads.
The cast of Slow Horses Season 6 includes Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Rosalind Eleazar, Joanna Scanlan, Samuel West, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke, Jonathan Pryce, and Hugo Weaving. Lenny Rush also joins the cast, and Olivia Cooke reprises her role.
In addition, Adam Randall will direct the upcoming episodes. Slow Horses Season 6 is adapted for television by co-executive producer Gaby Chiappe.
Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Julian Stevens, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Adam Randall, Gail Mutrux, Douglas Urbanski and Oldman serve as executive producers. Slow Horses is produced for Apple TV by See-Saw Films.
