Will Trent Season 4 Episode 11 Review: He Lives
We may have found the next great Will Trent villain. The series tricks you with Will Trent Season 4 Episode 11, “He Lives.” We meet “Lana” and think she’s about to be Will’s new great love interest. Turns out she’s his next greatest foe.
The ABC series has seven more episodes left in the season. There is so much left to happen before things come to an end. The setup of James Ulster’s daughter should have been a good finale two-parter.
Nevertheless, it is the perfect storyline for Ramon Rodriguez to direct. It’s the best episode of the season thus far.

Instead of using this one to end the season on a bang, it’s coming unexpectedly towards the latter half. This is an interesting choice because it may allow the rest of the season to revolve around this development. We know the fight against this new foe will continue next week.
However, the question remains whether the next episode will end her free rein. We suspect Will tracks her down and saves beloved uncle Antonio. Antonio is too adored to die at the hands of a serial killer.
We know the show wants us to worry about him, but that seems too cruel. Not only to Will but to us.
Currently, he’s our favorite TV uncle.
However, we expect Ulster’s daughter to remain alive by the end of the next episode. Later in the season, she may make a return to cause real havoc. Possibly the death of another beloved character who just got married.

That’s a worry for another episode. Nonetheless, we know a dangerous, potentially recurring character when we meet her.
Ulster is Will Trent’s greatest villain thus far. Therefore, we enjoy that the show has not let dead men lie. He keeps making appearances as a ghost.
Now, his family tree grows to haunt and hunt Will.
It’s also fitting that Ulster’s one heir is a woman. His hatred towards them cursed him with a daughter—someone who idolizes and has his psychotic genes.
Naturally, you expect a man to be behind this Ulster revenge from the grave plan. This makes it easy for viewers not to consider “Lana” as the culprit initially.

We also lean on our biases about the look of a serial killer. Very clever trick from the Will Trent writers. Even the title of the episode plays on this misconception that a man would lead Ulster’s legacy.
This new character could add so many layers to the rest of the season. She is the jolt the season needs to end strongly.
“He Lives” is a brilliant introduction to a new character who may have major repercussions for future storylines. It’s a nice touch to add some romance and sexual tension between Will and this new character.
Even when they’re outsmarting each other, there are sexual undertones. It’s hot.
You start to figure it out before the reveal. Nonetheless, the brief potential of love captures you in its little flirty dance. It’s a doomed ship from inception. However, it does make us hope that Will may find someone beyond a situationship before Season 4 ends.

It’s time for his great next love story to take flight.
“He Lives” is one of the strongest episodes of the season in terms of storyline, acting, and character and plot development. We can’t wait to see where this all leads.
