Cross Renewed for Season 3 on Prime Video
The Aldis Hodge-led thriller series, Cross, will return for another season on Prime Video.
The streamer has renewed the series for an eight-episode third season on the same day its Season 2 finale premiered. Cross returned with a three-episode season premiere last month.
Per the sophomore season’s logline, “billionaire business titan Lance Durand calls the FBI for protection after receiving a death threat — one that links him to the murder of a billionaire playboy.”
“Detective Alex Cross and FBI Agent Kayla Craig lead a new joint mission to protect Durand and to find the killer, who leaves behind gruesome clues. Meanwhile, John Sampson, Cross’ partner and longtime best friend, makes an unexpected connection.”
Cross Season 2 starred Hodge in the titular role, Matthew Lillard as Lance Duraand, Alona Tal as Kayla Craigh, and Isaiah Mustafa as John Sampson.
The cast also includes Jeanine Mason and Wes Chatham, plus returning stars Samantha Walkes, Juanita Jennings, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, and Johnny Ray Gill.
Created by executive producer Ben Watkins, Cross is based on characters created by James Patterson. Its third season “will continue to expand the high-stakes world of the iconic character, building on the show’s gripping storytelling and powerful performances.”
