What to Watch on TV

The week of February 8th brings the excitement of the 2026 Winter Olympics, which continues all week long on Peacock and NBC! This puts quite a bit of network television on hold for a few weeks, but there are still a few stragglers to keep an eye on.

2023’s exciting new series about Oliver Twist’s fellow street urchin turned doctor, Jack Dawkins, The Artful Dodger returns to Hulu this week for Season 2. And Prime Video’s exciting detective series, Cross also returns for a Season 2 much to the delight of its loyal fans.

And rounding out the week we also have The ‘Burbs making its debut on Peacock with a bit of mystery, whimsy, and comedy all wrapped into one cast of zany characters.

Series Description: A young couple moves back to the husband’s childhood home, only to face threats from new neighbors and uncover dark secrets of their cul-de-sac.

Puppy Bowl XXII – Sunday, February 8th

Puppy Bowl XXII airs Sunday, February 8th at 2/1c on Animal Planet.

Event Description: Featuring a record 150 rescue puppies from 72 shelters across the US, Puerto Rico, and the British Virgin Islands, competing in a 3-hour event for the “Walmart Lombarky” trophy. The event highlights adoption, featuring Team Ruff vs. Team Fluff, plus a new senior dog “Pro-Dog Halftime Showdown”.

The Artful Dodger Season 2 – Tuesday, February 10th

The Artful Dodger Season 2 premieres Tuesday, February 10th on Hulu.

Season Description: Season 2 of The Artful Dodger follows Dr. Jack Dawkins in 1850s Australia, facing a death sentence while being hunted by the new lawman, Inspector Henry Boxer.
