9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 8 Preview: War
After Chimney fired her, the 118 must adjust in Hen’s absence on 9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 8, “War.”
His decision came after Hen kept her medical crisis a secret for three months, endangering herself, the 118, and the public as her symptoms progressed.
The photos don’t tease too much about how it affects the team. Presumably, with Hen no longer being there, Eddie would have to take the reins as the team’s lead paramedic. Would they need to bring in another paramedic to help?
There are many questions for 9-1-1 to answer. The promo video mostly focuses on the fallout between Athena and Chimney. In it, Chimney says, “She could’ve died, Athena.” Athena counters with, “This house is supposed to be a family. You just tossed her out of it.”
It wouldn’t be shocking if this professional decision impacts the team’s personal relationships, particularly between Hen and Chimney. Only time will tell because the rest of the 9-1-1 promo video focuses on AI at the call center.
It’s introduced to help, but it appears to do anything but during “War.” Not only does Maddie tell Josh that she thinks they’re being replaced, but Sarah (the AI’s name) is giving incorrect advice to callers, putting their lives in danger.
Luckily, Maddie has the 118’s Captain on speed dial.
