Hancock Park is in development at Netflix, with Bridgerton‘s Regé-Jean Page set to star in and executive-produce the series.

Deadline, which exclusively broke the news, reports that the erotic thriller “has been put on an accelerated development track with a script-to-series commitment.”

The outlet also confirms that the series gets its name from “the historic and affluent Los Angeles neighborhood.” As of writing, Hancock Park has yet to receive a series greenlight at the streamer.

Page stars as the “dangerously charismatic outsider, who invades the lives of a seemingly picture-perfect Los Angeles family — when he rents their backyard guest house,” per the description, via Netflix’s Tudum.

“But as he dives further into their world, the façade of this elite community begins to crumble, and he exposes the desire, deceit, and obsession that lurks around every corner of one of LA’s most-coveted neighborhoods.”

Page executive produces Hancock Park through his production company, A Mighty Stranger.

This series marks Page’s third project with Netflix after Bridgerton‘s first season and 2022’s spy thriller, The Gray Man. The latter starred Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans and was directed by Anthony & Joe Russo.

The streamer reports that more casting, as well as a release date, will be announced at a later date.

Hancock Park is written by Matthew Barry (Industry, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina). A Mighty Stranger’s Emily Brown and Drew Comins also executive produce the series.

Page and Brown are also working together on a TV adaptation of Elissa Sussman’s Funny You Should Ask at Apple from Tomorrow Studios. He is also set to star in that project.
