What to Expect from 9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 6: Family History
Hen appears to have a health scare on 9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 6, “Family History,” which is this season’s fall finale.
This concern for Hen comes after only one full episode — 9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 5, “Día de los Muertos” — back on Earth after the four-episode space emergency.
The promo for “Family History” shows the 118 respond to an emergency at a business called Luna. On their way in, Buck asks, “This is a doctor’s office?” To which Eddie replies, “It looks like a spa.”
Hen tries to help a woman with no pulse, but the man wearing a white coat calls the woman’s death. Hen quickly responds, “You don’t get to call it,” adding that he’s only a doctor “in a spa.” When the man, whom Hen calls a salesman, notices Hen’s hand shaking, Hen rejects his attempts to diagnose her.
Unfortunately, it looks like whatever is going on with Hen will only escalate during “Family History,” leading Hen to collapse in her home and hit her head.
The promo’s edit suggests that Athena will be the first on the scene. It could be that what’s happening with Hen will cause Athena to revisit a painful part of her past. There’s also a chance that there’s another emergency that 9-1-1 isn’t teasing in its promotional materials.
Alternatively, they do tease the 118’s “big step forward.” It seems like Chimney is looking over potential applicants for captain. Plus, there are enough photos of Buck helping Harry to prepare for his LAFD exam for a training montage.
