Tulsa King Season 3 Episode 8 Review: Nothing is Over
Everything we had been expecting from Cole takes place on Tulsa King Season 3 Episode 8, “Nothing is Over.” His frustration with his father’s disappointment takes the lead, and he tells Spencer about Dunmire’s plan.
Without completely abandoning his father, Cole gives Manfredi the upper hand, allowing him to save the woman he loves. A debt that will definitely not go unpaid.
However, Dunmire ends the episode still believing he finally won against Manfredi. Could it ever get back to him that it was his son who betrayed him? If that were to happen, Cole’s own life would be at risk. We have no doubt Dunmire wouldn’t hesitate to kill his own blood if it meant winning the battle.
With this move, Cole has earned the viewers’ respect.

If there is one thing Tulsa King has taught us so far, it is that everyone who tries to double-cross Manfredi ends up losing. Chickie is the perfect example.
When the Watchmaker switches sides and decides to tell Dunmire the truth, he is sealing his own fate. It was obvious from the beginning that, despite wanting to protect his own, Manfredi would follow his own rules when it came to the FBI.
Lo and behold, that is exactly what he does. When the time comes, he takes matters into his own hands and deals with the Watchmaker on his terms.
The Watchmaker’s torture is one of the most violent and gruesome scenes we have seen on the series. It also shows how much Manfredi hates him, as he inflicts most of the pain before handing him off to Mitch and Bigfoot.
There is something so deep that’s awakened in him by the existence of this terrorist. Even though the FBI agent opens up to him about his partner’s death and needing him to act by the book, Manfredi follows his own heart and conviction.

All of Tulsa King Season 3, we have seen Margaret act on Manfredi’s behalf. Nevertheless, it would never cross our minds to consider her a “mafia moll” like Cal calls her.
Margaret has her own motives to help Manfredi. It is fair to believe there’s more to her and her actions than meets the eye.
This is a fair suspicion when we pay attention to the way she watches Manfredi when the FBI agent confronts him after the bombing. Could she be worried?
It is also very clear that Margaret has become Manfredi’s weakness. His character’s essence lies in his always protecting his own, but there’s something about Margaret that stands out.
He wants to protect her and would go as far as to expose his deal with the FBI to guarantee her safety. Hopefully, this weakness doesn’t backfire.

While the Watchmaker is a threat that no longer exists, the FBI and Dunmire are still challenges Manfredi must face. Even though he now holds the upper hand, Tulsa King has taught us that happiness doesn’t last long.
The retaliation from the FBI agent is coming, and Dunmire will also act once he finds out his bombing plan didn’t work out.
Now that Tulsa King Season 3 is almost over, Manfredi needs to watch his back more than ever. Anyone can try to bring down his empire.
