Nobody Wants This Season 2 Episodes 1-3 Review: Dinner Party/Leave It At The Tree/The Unethical Therapist
We are past the infatuation period and now into the real deal. Nobody Wants This Season 2 starts by expressing how Noah and Joanne are no longer just two people falling in love but engaging in a real relationship.
Nobody Wants This Season 2 Episode 1, “Dinner Party,” Nobody Wants This Season 2 Episode 2,“Leave It At The Trees,” and Nobody Wants This Season 2 Episode 3, “The Unethical Therapist,” tackle this new phase in their relationship while addressing how Season 1 ended.
Noah picks Joanne, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they can now run off into the sunset. The tough stuff happens now.

Because of Noah’s choice, his job is no longer certain, and Joanne hasn’t made a definitive decision on her religion. Nevertheless, they have faith that love conquers all.
Kristen Bell and Adam Brody’s chemistry convinces you that maybe they are capable of working through everything. You just have to trust in their love story.
That’s the beauty of an excellent romantic comedy: it makes you as hopeful and brave as the main characters. You want to believe that nothing can tear them apart.
We shall see if that remains true for Joan and Noah because things almost feel too perfect. Like Morgan, we’re waiting for the next shoe to drop.

Bina remains a threat, but even she doesn’t seem a match for the potentially enduring love story of Noah and Joanne. However, Bina remains one of Nobody Wants This‘s best characters.
Her rivalry with Joanne is still so iconic and funny. “Leave It At The Tree” is another highlight episode because of all the brilliant jokes and moments between Tovah Feldshuh and Bell.
They’re both so excitingly petty. They’re committed to fighting until the end of time — yet Joanne is clearly terrified of this woman, rightfully so.
A lot happens in the first three episodes of the season to set up conflict and character arcs. The most interesting plotline happens in “The Unethical Therapist.” We meet Morgan’s new boyfriend.

Joanne is proven right to not trust and immediately question the new relationship. Dr. Andy is sketchy and potentially harmful because of how he can manipulate Morgan.
It shall be interesting to see how that storyline further develops throughout the season.
We’re already getting less Morgan and Sasha interaction, but it’s something we hope comes back into play as the season progresses. For now, we’re curious if the baby can save Sasha and Esther’s marriage.
We suspect it won’t, but it’s another storyline that has intrigue.

Overall, “Dinner Party, “Leave It At The Tree,” and “The Unethical Therapist” are solid starts to Nobody Wants This Season 2. It has all the charm of the first season.
Now we just want to see if it maintains its charm and where Joanne and Noah go from here. We hope only up.
