A surprise visitor to the mansion gives Jay something new to write about in his ghost notes.

Ghosts Season 5 Episode 3, “Halloween 5: The Mummy,” marks a spooktacular milestone for the show with a treat of an episode.

After many deadly and disastrous Halloweens at Woodstone, Jay has given up trying to convince Sam to avoid the holiday. Instead, the couple capitalizes on the cursed mansion by turning it into a haunted house. But in their pursuit to find scary decorations, they unwrap one of Hetty and Elias’ strange curios — a mummy.

It’s very Night at the Museum of Ghosts, as the group accidentally awakens the good-looking ghost of Amunhotep, an ancient Egyptian pharaoh.

And it would seem the mummy ghost has a bone to pick with the family who separated him from his tomb.

Meanwhile, on the other side of this haunted house, Nigel pays a visit to his ex-fiance when one of Isaac’s lies comes back to haunt him.

What Happened on the Previous Episode?

Previously on Ghosts, the Farnsbys let Sam and Jay know they would be embarking on a cross-country RV trip. In the meantime, friends of Sam and Jay’s from the city end up leasing the house next door. As Sam attempts to present a normal front for their new neighbors, Thorfinn begs for help moving a bookcase so he can deliver a speech at his son’s wedding.
