The teaser trailer for Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2 sees Billie reflecting (quite literally) on the events of Season 1 in this misty realm. Her adopted brothers, Milo and Roman Russo, also experience a look back at their newfound magical circumstances.

With Billie, Milo, and Roman finally gaining their wizarding abilities at the end of Season 1, the series looks like it will return to the iconic trio-shenanigans structure that made the original series memorable.

“Billie grapples with the fact that being part of the Russo family might be more complicated than she thought —especially now that she’s not the only wizard in the house,” the season’s synopsis reads.

“Thanks to Roman and Milo’s new magical powers, Justin is now tasked with training three young wizards for the Family Wizard Competition. As the stakes rise inside and outside the family, a mysterious new threat emerges, one that could unravel the Russos forever.”
