What to Expect from Dexter: Resurrection Season 1 Episode 8: Batista Inches Closer

Dexter: Resurrection, Previews

Ever since the premiere of Dexter back in 2006, fans have latched on to certain aspects of his personality. With Dexter: Resurrection Season 1 Episode 8, “The Kill Room Where it Happens,” we see the return of one such aspect, his signature phrase, “Tonight’s the night.”

All that aside, Dexter has come to the last man standing in his new crop of murder friends, Al a.k.a. Ponytail. While we aren’t certain how he’s going to handle this last remaining victim, we are certain it is going to be a fun time regardless.

On top of that, based on the preview linked below, it seems that Dexter might’ve found himself an official kill room. After his very close shave with Blessing during Dexter: Resurrection Season 1 Episode 7, “Course Correction,” this development should come as no surprise.

Also, in the promo we see that Blessing mentions Harrison and killing someone, which leaves us wondering what he’s talking about. And we wonder just how much Blessing knows about Dexter’s true nature.

Meanwhile, Batista’s attempt to track Dexter doesn’t seem to be going as well as he would hope and Detective Claudette is digging into some leads of her own. Namely, she’s taking it all the way back to Miami Metro.

Which would explain why Quinn is possibly going to show up once again. The actor is credited as being part of the episode, but he doesn’t appear in the promo so its uncertain the context of him being around.

Finally, we see Prater and Charley having an impassioned discussion and the episode description mentions he figures some things out putting Harrison in harm’s way. My money is on Charley raising suspicions about Dexter, but how that links to Harrison we still aren’t sure.

The interaction ends with Dexter killing him with a broken wine glass in plain view of everyone else at Prater’s remote getaway. Meanwhile, Harrison worries he’s going to turn out like his father, negatively, only to discover he might have a future in law enforcement turning that fear into a positive.
