LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past Adds Dan Stevens
LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past has added Dan Stevens to the cast as Solitus ahead of its premiere.
Stevens will portray the “fallen Jedi who sought out access to Forcehold — a secret realm full of discarded pieces of the past” — on the LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy sequel series. The four-part series premieres on Friday, September 19, on Disney+.
Produced in collaboration with Atomic Cartoons, LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past continues the story of hero Sig Breebling (Gaten Matarazzo) that began in September 2024.

“A new threat rises in the galaxy, and Sig Greebling and Darth Dev must combine their powers of Force Building and Sith Breaking to stop it,” per the show’s description.
The voice cast returning alongside Matarazzo as Sig include Tony Revolori as Darth Dev, Bobby Moynihan as Jedi Bob, Marsai Martin as Yesi Scala, Michael Cusack as Servo, and Ahmed Best as Darth Jar Jar. Special guest star Mark Hamill will also reprise his role as Luke Skywalker.
Like Stevens joining as Solitus, LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past adds Ashley Eckstein as the voice of BrickHeadz Ahsoka Tano, as well as Ben Schwartz as Jaxxon the Lepi. Shwartz also played TAY-o in Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
“I think I would describe Solitus kind of differently from the first season’s villain arc where Dev is presented as the big bad from the beginning, because there really isn’t a tug of war between the good and the light with Solitus,” Matarazzo told StarWars.com.

“It really is just a pure evil force whose main desire is control and order and completely sterilizing the fun that can be brought to the Star Wars universe and also the world of LEGO Star Wars…,” Matarazzo continued.
“There’s so much creativity involved with the world that can be built and the sets, so not only does it go to the extent of wanting LEGO sets to be built in a very specific way, but also just having them boxed up entirely,” Matarazzo concluded.
To celebrate Stevens’ casting, Lucasfilm and the LEGO Group have released new key art for the show, featuring Solitus. Plus, an all-new LEGO Star Wars building set tied to LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past will be available in stores in August.
LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past is written and executive produced by Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit, with Chris Buckley directing. James Waugh, Jacqui Lopez, Josh Rimes, Jill Wilfert, Jason Cosler, and Keith Malone are executive producers. The producers are Daniel Cavey & Dan Langlois.
