Critics Choice Super Awards 2025: TV Nominations Include The Last Of Us, 9-1-1, Fallout, Severance, and More

9-1-1, Critics Choice Awards, Interview with the Vampire, News, Severance, Superman & Lois, The Last of Us, What We Do in the Shadows

The Critics Choice Association has officially unveiled the nominees for the 5th annual Critics Choice Super Awards, spotlighting the most popular, fan-obsessed genres across both television and movies, including action, superhero, science fiction/fantasy, and horror. Winners will be announced on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 9:00am PT on CriticsChoice.com.

On the television side, HBO’s The Last of Us leads the pack with six nominations, recognized in both the Best Superhero Series and Best Horror Series categories.

Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey each received dual nominations: Pascal for Best Actor in both a Superhero and a Horror Series, and Ramsey for Best Actress in both categories.

Other TV standouts include Shōgun, Reacher, The Boys, Severance, and Fallout, all earning multiple nods across categories. The superhero field, which also includes series inspired by comic books and video games, features favorites like Agatha All Along, The Penguin, and Superman & Lois.

Emma Corrin and Jennifer Garner earned nominations for Best Actress in a Superhero Movie, with Corrin also landing a nod for Best Villain. Thunderbolts matched those achievements with nominations for David Harbour, Lewis Pullman, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Florence Pugh.
