The Rookie Season 7 Episode 16 Preview: The Return
Despite his termination, Seth Ridley returns to Mid-Wilshire’s FTO program on The Rookie Season 7 Episode 16, “The Return.”
Lieutenant Wade Grey terminated Ridley after his history of lying caught up with him on The Rookie Season 7 Episode 10, “Chaos Agent.” Now, with only three episodes remaining in the 18-episode season, Ridley is back and in the training program he washed out of just six episodes prior.
Understandably, given her dicey history with Ridley, Lucy distances herself from Ridley. She tells Celina, “He is a danger to any case he works on and any cop he works with.” Plus, Lucy has her focus on her sergeant’s exam.
While the photos and promo video don’t reveal much, the description teases that Tim will support her as she preps.
Meanwhile, the promo video for “The Return” teases that John Nolan will step into the passenger seat to train Ridley. “Your previous errors have been documented. I won’t believe anything you say. I am your nightmare T.O.,” John tells Seth.
Plus, The Rookie‘s new episode will feature a storyline for Wesley as an influencer encourages their fans to go after Wesley. It’s challenging to decipher any context for that arc from a singular photo. So, “The Return” will have to reveal all the details when it airs on Tuesday, April 29, on ABC.
